Review on development of voglibose-induced adverse reactions and disposal measures

Abstract：By retrieving the domestic and foreign reports of voglibose-induced adverse reactions and disposal measures, the clinical manifestations, prognosis and outcome of the patients were analyzed. The common adverse reaction of voglibose was gastrointestinal tract reaction, and the main clinical symptoms are diarrhea, barborygmus, abdominal pain, constipation and so on. After drug withdrawal and heteropathy, most patients were cured, no severe adverse drug reaction was reported. Voglibose can cause multiple systems adverse reactions in patients, health care providers should pay attention to the adverse reaction monitoring of voglibose, and master the disposal measures to make sure the medication safety in clinic.
