Pharmaceutical care on an elderly coronary heart disease patient combined with a variety of diseases

Abstract:A 76-year-old female patient with coronary PCI operation for two months was hospitalized with the chief complaint of labored breathing and lack of power more than ten days. After admission, the patient received the treatment of antiplatelet, controlling blood pressure and blood sugar, protecting gastric mucosa. During the hospitalization, the clinical pharmacists focused on the following pharmaceutical care points:the combination use of hydrogen sulfate clopidogrel and omeprazole enteric-coated tablets, sinus bradycardia adverse reaction caused by amiodarone tablet, gastritis accompanied with erosion caused by dual antiplatelet therapy, and rationality of use of celecoxib capsule for relieving pain. After symptomatic treatment, the patient was discharged with a better health condition.
