Abstract:Objective To evaluate the predictive value of serum monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)and 3-nitrotyrosine(3-NT)concentrations for adverse cardiac events in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 106 patients with AMI admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from June 2022 to June 2024 were divided into an events group(n=47)and non-events group(n=59)according to the occurrence of adverse cardiac events.Serum MCP-1,3-NT,and cardiac function indices were compared between groups, and the correlations between these indices and adverse cardiac events were analyzed. Results Compared with the non-events group,MCP-1 and 3-NT levels were significantly higher in the events group(P<0.05).Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was significantly higher, while left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular end-diastolic area(LVEAD)were significantly higher than in the non-events group(P<0.05).Multivariable analysis showed that a history of heart failure,MCP-1,and 3-NT were independent factors associated with adverse cardiac events after PCI in AMI patients(P<0.05).The area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve for MCP-1 was 0.869(sensitivity 71.2%,specificity 53.8%),and for 3-NT was 0.786(sensitivity 93.7%,specificity 19.2%).Conclusion Serum MCP-1 and 3-NT levels are independent influencing factors associated with adverse cardiac events in patients with AMI after PCI,and show predictive utility for event occurrence.
