Two Cases of Atrial Fibrillation with Heart Failure Treated with Atrioventricular Node Ablation Combined with Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy in Different Periods
Abstract:The treatment of atrial fibrillation includes ventricular rate control and rhythm control. Current clinical treatments include: drug intervention, catheter ablation, and atrioventricular node ablation combined with pacemaker implantation. For patients with persistent or permanent atrial fibrillation combined with heart failure who are ineffective to drug therapy, failed catheter ablation, or unsuitable for it, atrioventricular node ablation combined with pacemaker implantation may be the 'last line of defense' in treatment.
