Successful Closure of a Large Atrial Septal Defect with Poor Edges: A Case Report
Abstract:Atrial septal defect (ASD) is a common congenital heart disease. When there is an edge defect, it increases the difficulty of interventional surgery. This article reports a case of successful closure in a patient with a large atrial septal defect characterized by insufficient inferior vena cava edge, absence of aortic edge, and insufficient posterior edge.
