Abstract:Objective To analyze the influence of phase Ⅰ cardiac rehabilitation on heart rate variability(HRV)and heart rate deceleration capacity(DC)in patients underwent emergency percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods The patients with phase Ⅰ cardiac rehabilitation and emergency PCI(n=80)were selected into observation group, and patients with routine rehabilitation and emergency PCI(n=80)were selected into control group, and 2 groups were intervened for 7 d in People's Hospital of Longhua District of Shenzhen City from Jan.2021 to June 2023.HRV and DC were compared between 2 groups at 24 h after PCI and 7 d after intervention, and heart function was compared between 2 groups at 24 h after PCI and 6 months of follow-up.The activities of daily living[Barthel Index(BI)],self-management ability[Coronary Artery Disease Self-Management Scale(CSMS)],and quality of life[36-Item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36)]were compared between 2 groups at 24 h after PCI and 6 months of follow-up.Results At 7 days of intervention, the standard deviation of normal sinus R-R intervals within 24 h(SDNN),root mean square of successive differences between adjacent R-R intervals(RMSSD),standard deviation of average R-R intervals(SDANN),percentage of adjacent R-R interval differences>50 ms(PNN50),and deceleration capacity of heart rate(DC)in both groups were higher than those at 24 hours after PCI(P<0.05).At 6 months of follow-up,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was higher, while left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)was lower in 2 groups than those at 24 hours after PCI(P<0.05).At 6 months of follow-up,BI score, total score of CSMS,and scores of all dimensions of SF-36 in 2 groups were higher than those at 24 hours after PCI(P<0.05).Conclusion The phase Ⅰ cardiac rehabilitation can improve HRV,promote DC,and enhance activities of daily living,self-management abilities and quality of life.
