Efficacy and influence of sakubatril-valsartan on hypertension complicated by heart failure with preserved ejection fraction,compliance rate of blood pressure and blood pressure variability

Abstract：Objective To analyze the efficacy and influence of sakubatril-valsartan tablet on hypertension complicated by heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF),compliance rate of blood pressure(BP)and blood pressure variability(BPV).Methods The patients with hypertension complicated by HFpEF(n=148)were selected and divided into routine group and Entresto group(each n=74)at People's Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from June 2019 to June 2024.The routine group was given conventional treatment for heart failure,and Entresto group was treated with Entresto.The indicators of heart function,BP compliance rate,BPV and reverse reaction occurrence were compared between 2 groups after treatment for 12 weeks.Results After treatment,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and 6-minute walk test(6MWT)increased significantly(P＜0.05),and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDd),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESd)and content of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)decreased significantly(P＜0.05)in Entresto group compared with routine group.After treatment,24 h BP,daytime BP,nighttime BP and compliance rate of ambulatory BP were significantly higher(P＜0.05),and 24 h systolic blood pressure(SBP),24 h diastolic blood pressure(DBP),24 h systolic pressure coefficient of variability(24hSCV)and 24 h diastolic pressure coefficient of variability(24hDCV)were significantly lower(P＜0.05)in Entresto group compared with routine group.During treatment,the total incidence of adverse reactions was 14.86％in Entresto group and 21.62％in routine group(P＞0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional treatment,Entresto is more effective in patients with hypertension complicated by HFpEF.It can significantly improve heart function,increase BP compliance rate and reduce BP,with higher safety.
