Molecular Mechanisms and Intervention Strategies of Ventricular Remodeling After Myocardial Infarction
Abstract:Myocardial infarction is one of the main causes of heart failure and cardiovascular death worldwide. The acute interruption of coronary blood flow leads to myocardial cells being in a state of ischemia and hypoxia, resulting in necrosis. According to the epidemiological survey in 2021, the number of patients with acute myocardial infarction in China has reached 2.5 million, and it has become a common and frequent disease in cardiology, with a high mortality and disability rate [1]. With the advancement of medicine, especially the widespread application of reperfusion therapy, the mortality rate of myocardial infarction patients in the acute phase has been effectively controlled. However, ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction has become a major challenge in subsequent treatment [2].
