Abstract:Objective To discuss the correlation between level of G-protein-coupled estrogen receptor(GPER)and 24h blood pressure variability(BPV)in patients with perimenopausal hypertension. Methods The patients(n=110)were selected into observation group, and patients without perimenopausal hypertension(n=100)were selected into control group from Center of Cardiovascular Disease in Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine from Oct.2021 to Mar.2024.The level of GPER was detected by using ELISA in 2 groups, and observation group was divided, according to GPER level, into low-GPER group and high-GPER group. The BPV-related values were obtained by using ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. The correlation between laboratory indicators and BPV indicators was analyzed by using Pearson correlation analysis, and the indicators with statistically significant differences in correlation analysis were included in multiple linear regression analysis for analyzing the correlation between GPER and BPV.Results The level of serum GPER was lower in observation group than that in control group(P<0.05).The standard deviation of 24h systolic blood pressure(24h SSD),standard deviation of 24h diastolic blood pressure(24h DSD),variation rate of 24h systolic blood pressure(24h SPV)and variation rate of 24h diastolic blood pressure(24h DPV)were higher in observation group than those in control group(P<0.05).24h SSD,24h DSD,24h SPV and 24h DPV were lower in high-GPER group than those in low-GPER group(P<0.05).The results of multiple linear regression analysis on indicators of GPER and BPV showed that GPER level was negatively correlated to 24h SSD,24h DSD,24h SPV and 24h DPV(P<0.05).Conclusion The level of serum GPER decreases significantly in patients with perimenopausal hypertension, and the decrease of GPER level is negatively correlated to the increase of 24h ambulatory BPV.
