A Case of Secondary Hypertension During Pregnancy Complicated with Cardiorenal Syndrome
Abstract:Cardiorenal syndrome (CRS) refers to a syndrome in which dysfunction of one organ (heart or kidney) leads to dysfunction of the other. More than 60% of patients with acute decompensated heart failure have chronic kidney disease, defined as a glomerular filtration rate <60 ml/(min·1.73 m²). Conversely, chronic kidney disease (CKD) is one of the strongest risk factors for mortality and cardiovascular events in patients with acute decompensated heart failure [1]. The treatment of acute cardiorenal syndrome often requires comprehensive consideration of protecting cardiac and renal function, rational use of drugs and mechanical support, and individualized management based on the patient's specific condition [2]. Currently, there is no unified diagnostic and therapeutic guidelines for patients with cardiorenal syndrome combined with pregnancy, and clinical practice mainly relies on expert experience and case reports. This article reports a case of acute kidney injury complicated with cardiorenal syndrome during pregnancy, aiming to guide clinical practice and improve the diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities for such diseases.
