Abstract:Objective To discuss the influence of radiofrequency ablation(RFA)on serum lysyl oxidase-like protein 2(LOXL2),polyligand proteoglycan 4(SDC4)and glucose regulatory protein 94(GRP94)in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF).Methods AF patients(n=124)were chosen from Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Second People's Hospital of Neijiang City from Jan.2022 Jan.2024,and were divided, according to random digital table, into control group(given routine therapy)and RFA group(given routine therapy+RFA,each n=62).LOXL2,SDC4,GRP94,heart function parameters, cardiac blood flow parameters,NYHA classification of heart function(NYHA),adverse reactions and recurrence rate were compared between 2 groups. Results After treatment,LOXL2,SDC4,left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left atrial diameter(LAD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),NYHA grades from Ⅲ to Ⅳ,incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate decreased, and GRP94,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),levels of cardiac blood flow parameters and increased NYHA grades from Ⅰ to Ⅱ increased in RFA group compared with control group(P<0.05).Conclusion After RFA,the levels of LOXL2 and SDC4 decrease, and GRP94 level increase, which indicates that RFA can relieve cardiac fibrosis, ventricular remodeling and abnormal myocardial contractions, enhance heart function, and reduce the risks of adverse reactions and recurrence, providing a reference for AF treatment in clinical practice.
