Characteristics of CD4+T cell subsets and relationship between them and severity of coronary artery lesions in patients with coronary heart disease

Abstract：Objective To investigate the characteristics of CD4+T cell subsets and relationship between them and severity of coronary artery lesions in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods CHD patients(n=1 18)were selected into observation group,including patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS subgroup,n=78)and patients with stable angina pectoris(SAP subgroup,n=40)from Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in Mianyang Hospital affiliated to Medical College of University of Electronic Science and Technology from Jan.2022 to Jan.2024.At the same time,the patients with chest pain syndrome and normal coronary angiography were selected into control group(n=50).The differences in CD3+T cell,CD4+T cell,ratio of CD4+cell to CD8+cell(CD4+/CD8+),CD8+T cell and CD4+CD25+T cell were compared among all groups.Results CD3+T cell(70.30±9.22)％,CD4+T cell(48.84±9.03)％and CD4+/CD8+(2.40±0.76)％were higher(P＜0.05),and CD8+T cell(20.44±3.43)％and CD4+CD25+T cell(10.43±1.14)％were lower(P＜0.05)in observation group than those in control group.CD8+T cell(19.93±2.73)％and CD4+CD25+T cell(9.96±1.02)％were lower in ACS subgroup than those in SAP subgroup(P＜0.05).CD4+T cell(52.32±9.00)％and CD4+/CD8+(2.70±0.61)％were higher in patients with severe coronary stenosis than those in patients with mild and moderate coronary stenosis in observation group(P＜0.05).CD4+T cell(49.23±9.10)％was higher in patients with moderate coronary stenosis than that in patients with mild coronary stenosis in observation group(P＜0.05).CD4+T cell and CD4+/CD8+were positively correlated to Gensini integral(r=0.409,r=0.259,P＜0.05).In predicting severity of severe coronary stenosis,AUC of ROC curve of CD4+T cell was 0.713(95％CI:0.619～0.807,P＜0.05),cutoff value was 50.70％,sensitivity was 71.40％and specificity was 67.50％.Conclusion The increases of CD4+T cell subsets are positively correlated to severity of coronary stenosis,and have some clinical value to predicting severity of severe coronary stenosis in CHD patients.
