Abstract:Objective To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of sleep disorders in patients with hypertension. Methods A total of 633 hypertensive patients who were admitted to the First Medical Center and the Sixth Medical Center of the Chinese PLA General Hospital from January 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the study subjects.General clinical data were recorded, and sleep quality was evaluated using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI).The subjects were divided into the simple hypertension group(247 cases)and the hypertension combined with sleep disorders group(386 cases)according to the presence or absence of sleep disorders. The chi-square test was used to compare the general clinical data between the two groups, and binary logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of sleep disorders in hypertensive patients. Results Among 633 hypertensive patients,60.98%had sleep disorders.Marital status(OR=1.864,95%CI:1.018~3.410),nature of work(OR=1.979,95%CI:1.331~2.940),hypertension medication(OR=1.553,95%CI:1.038~2.324),heart failure(OR=1.970,95%CI:1.234~3.144),hyperuricemia(OR=2.280,95%CI:1.292~4.024),anxiety(OR=2.949,95%CI:1.947~4.468),depression(OR=2.887,95%CI:1.831~4.552)and somatic symptom disorder(OR=1.970,95%CI:1.334~2.910)were independent influencing factors for hypertensive patients with sleep disorders. Conclusion Hypertensive patients who are unmarried, divorced,or widowed;engaged in mental work;not receiving antihypertensive drug treatment;or who have heart failure, hyperuricemia, anxiety, depression,or somatic symptom disorder are more likely to have sleep disorders.
