Abstract:Objective To explore the current research status and development trends of ferroptosis in coronary heart disease through bibliometric and visualization analyses, and to provide references and suggestions for future research in this field. Methods Relevant Chinese and English literature was retrieved from CNKI,VIP,Wanfang and Web of Science databases, and the literature was analyzed using Excel,CiteSpace and VOSviewer for visualization and bibliometric analysis. Results A total of 2187 articles were included, comprising 760 Chinese and 1427 English publications. The number of annual publications has shown a rapid upward trend;the most productive authors included Ponikowski,Piotr, and Zhongyuan Xia,who have formed collaborative research groups.Highly productive institutions included Harvard University,Free University of Berlin,Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, and Shandong University;collaboration among English-language institutions was closer than among Chinese-language institutions, but cross-regional cooperation still needs to be strengthened.Research hotspots focused on iron metabolism imbalance,System Xc-dysfunction,oxidative stress, and lipid metabolism disorders;proteomics,m6A modification, gut microbiota, and non-coding RNAs were less frequently reported;diabetes mellitus was closely related to the occurrence of ferroptosis in coronary heart disease;burst analysis indicated that researchers are highly concerned about cardiac protective mechanisms and iron metabolism, and traditional Chinese medicine interventions have played an important role in this field. Conclusion Research on ferroptosis in coronary heart disease is in a period of rapid development, and researchers and institutions should strengthen collaboration to seek breakthroughs and innovations.Based on the current status and hotspots, integrating proteomics,m6A modification, and glycolipid metabolism may broaden research perspectives.
