Abstract:Objective To discuss the correlation between creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme to creatine kinase ratio(CK-MB/CK)and unplanned readmission during vulnerable period in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF).Methods HFpEF patients(n=151)were selected from Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College from Apr.2022 to Apr.2024.According to status of unplanned readmission during vulnerable period, the patients were divided into readmission group(n=53)and non-readmission group(n=98).The general data were collected and compared in 2 groups.Taken status of unplanned readmission during vulnerable period as dependent variable(1=occurrence,0=non-occurrence),indexes with P<0.05 compared with general data were included in multi-factor Logistic regression model as independent variable.Confounding factors were analyzed and adjusted step by step, and OR value of the optimal model for multi-factor Logistic regression analysis was obtained. The relationship between increased CK-MB/CK and unplanned readmission during vulnerable period in HFpEF patients. Results After adjusted confounding factors,CK-MB/CK was correlated to unplanned readmission during vulnerable period. The increase of CK-MB/CK was a risk factor of unplanned readmission during vulnerable period in HFpEF patients(OR=1.493,95%CI:1.421~1.562,P<0.05).Conclusion There is a close relationship between CK-MB/CK and unplanned readmission during vulnerable period in HFpEF patients. For patients with abnormal CK-MB/CK on the day of discharge, clinicians should provide individualized medication plans and advise them to undergo regular check-ups during vulnerable period. If any abnormalities are detected, timely and effective interventions should be implemented to minimize the risk of unplanned readmissions during vulnerable period.
