Abstract:Alcoholic cardiomyopathy (ACM) is a myocardial disease caused by long-term heavy drinking, mainly characterized by heart failure and arrhythmia [1,2]. It is estimated that 1% to 40% of patients with alcohol use disorders have myocardial disease, and 23% to 47% of patients with dilated cardiomyopathy have ACM [3].
