Incidence and risk factors of heart failure complicated by complex ventricular arrhythmias

Abstract：Objective To discuss the incidence and risk factors of heart failure(HF)complicated by complex ventricular arrhythmias(CVA).Methods HF patients(n=183)were chosen from the SenventhPeople's Hospital of Zhengzhou City from Feb.2021 to Oct.2023,and all of them were given examination of 24 hambulatory electrocardiogram.CVA diagnosis was conducted according to LOWN grading standard and LOWN grades 3 to 5 were diagnosed as CVA,and CVA incidence was calculated.The patients were divided,according to complicated CVA,into CVA group and non-CVA group.The general materials were compared betwee 2 groups.The influence factors for CVA were analyzed by using Logistic regression analysis.Results There were 82 patients in CVA group,101 patients in non-CVA group,and CVA incidence was 44.81%.The comparison in gender,age,smoking,disease causes,heart function and complicated hypertension was comparable(P＞0.05).The comparison in body mass index(BMI),disease course,complicated diabetes,heart rate,serum creatinine(SCr),N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),left atrial diameter(LAD),right atrial diameter(RAD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)had statistical differences between 2 groups(P＜0.05).The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that BMI,disease course,complicated diabetes,heart rate,SCr,NT-proBNP,LAD,RAD,LVEDD and LVEF all were risk factors for CVA.Conclusion The incidence of HF complicated by CVA is high with many influence factors.In clinical practice,preventive measures should be actively taken to reduce CVAincidence and promote curative effect.
