Abstract:Objective To detect the relationship between systemic immune-inflammation index(SII)and left ventricular remodeling(LVR)in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEM I)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods STEMI patients undergone PCI were chosen into STEMI group(n=150),and healthy control with physical examinations were chosen into control group(n=150)from Department of Cardiology in Henan Chest Hospital of Henan Province from Jan.2020 to Dec.2021.The clinical materials and relationship between SII and LVR after PCI were analyzed. Results The value of SII increased significantly in STEMI group compared with control group(P<0.05).There were totally 44(29.3%)patients with LVR during follow-up period. The STEMI group was further divided into non-LVR subgroup and LVR subgroup.Compared with non-LVR subgroup, neutrophil count(NEUT),platelet count(PLT),blood sugar, creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme(CK-MB)and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)were higher, and lymphocyte count was lower(P<0.05),and left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV)and left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV)increased significantly, and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)decreased significantly(P<0.05)in LVR subgroup. The results of Person correlation analysis showed that SII was positively correlated to LVESV and LVEDV significantly(P<0.05),and was negatively correlated to LVEF significantly(P<0.05).The results of ROC curve analysis showed that,in prediction of LVR in STEMI patients after PCI by SII,AUC was 0.861(95%CI:0.819-0.903,P<0.05),sensitivity was 88.1%and specificity was 76.4%.Conclusion SII has a potential predictive value to LVR occurrence in STEMI patients after PCI.
