Influence of positive reinforcement intervention on mental resilience and quality of life in patients with myocardial infarction complicated by atrial fibrillation after percutaneous coronary intervention

Abstract:Objective To observe the effectiveness and influence of positive reinforcement intervention on mental resilience and quality of life(QOL)in patients with myocardial infarction(MI)complicated by atrial fibrillation(AF)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods The patients with MI complicated by AF(n=68)after PCI were divided into control group and study group(each n=34)according to different interventional methods in People's Hospital of Shijiazhuang City from Mar.2021 to Feb.2022.The control group was given routine intervention and study group was given positive reinforcement intervention.The situations of mental resilience and QOL were compared between 2 groups.Results The scores of tenacity,control,strength and optimism were significantly higher in study group than those in control group(P<0.05)after the intervention.The rates of medication compliance,reasonable diet,smoking and alcohol prohibition,regular living were significantly higher in study group than those in control group(P<0.05).The improvement of heart function indexes were superior in study group than that in control group(P<0.05).The overall degree of satisfaction to nursing service was higher in study group than that in control group(94.12%vs.82.35%,P<0.05).Conclusion Positive reinforcement intervention can improve mental resilience,compliant behaviors,QOL and satisfaction to nursing service in patients with MI complicated by AF after PCI.
