Abstract:Objective To investigate the predictive value of serum S100A8/A9 to major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods AMI patients undergone PCI(n=193)were chosen into AMI group from School of Clinical Medicine of Shandong Second Medical University from Mar.2019 to Dec.2020.According to whether MACE occurred within 1 month after PCI or not,the AMI group was divided into MACE group(n=25)and non-MACE group(n=168),and healthy volunteers with physical examination(n=201)were chosen into control during the same period. The level of serum S100A8/A9 was detected by using ELISA,and influence factors for MACE occurrence within 1 month after PCI were analyzed. The predictive value of S100A8/A9 to MACE occurrence after PCI was reviewed by using ROC curve analysis. The influence factors for MACE occurrence were analysis by using Logistic regression analysis. Results The level of S100A8/A9 increased significantly in AMI group compared with control group(P<0.05).The number of AMI patients complicated by hyperlipidemia and coronary heart disease(CHD),levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG),triglyceride(TG)and total cholesterol(TC),number of implanted stents ≥ 2,stent diameter≥ 3 mm and heart rate(HR)were all higher in MACE group than those in non-MACE group(P<0.05).The level of S100A8/A9 increased significantly in MACE group than that in non-MACE group(P<0.05).The results of ROC curve analysis showed that the review value of S100A8/A9 was 0.699,and when S100A8/A9>3.158 mg/ml,it could predict MACE after PCI,and sensitivity was 65.7%and specificity was 65.9%.The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that S100A8/A9 was a significant risk factor for MACE occurrence in AMI patients. Conclusion The level of serum S100A8/A9 is correlated to MACE occurrence, and detection of S100A8/A9may help determine MACE status in AMI patients after PCI.
