Abstract:Objective To systematically evaluate the methodological quality of Chinese Acupoint Application guidelines. Methods CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,Medical Pulse Database, and the website of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine were searched for guidelines published in China on Acupoint Application, and the search period was from the database to May 2022.Three investigators independently used the AGREE Ⅱ tool to evaluate the methodological quality of the included guidelines. Results There are ten guidelines enrolled, and the mean scores for the six domains were 66.30%for scope and purpose,46.67%for participants,32.92%for the rigor of development,64.07%for clarity,27.50%for applicability, and 9.72%for editorial independence. Conclusion The number of existing acupressure guidelines in China is low,and the methodology needs to be of better quality. In the future, the quality of China's Acupoint Application guidelines should be further improved by following internationally accepted guidelines, development norms, and processes in guideline development.
