Abstract：The FinnGen research project is a large-scale genetic study initiative that,since 2017,has been dedicated to enhancing the understanding of human health by analyzing the genetic data of the Finnish population and its correlation with national electronic health records.The project aims to collect approximately 500,000 samples,accounting for 10%of Finland's total population.FinnGen leverages national biobanks for sample collection and collaborates with numerous health institutions,universities,medical facilities,biobanks,and international pharmaceutical companies.This study provides a detailed account of how users can download and utilize data on the FinnGen platform,with the goal of fostering academic exchange and communication,offering researchers access to higher quality scientific data sources.
