Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of non-inductive health monitoring system based on frequency-modulated continuous-wave(FMCW)radar in patients with arrhythmia. Methods The patients with arrhythmia or suspected arrhythmia(n=60)were chosen from Department of Cardiology in the Seventh Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital from Sept.23,2022 to Oct.31,2022.In a self-controlled experiment, the indexes of electrocardiogram(ECG)including heart rate(HR),nodal tachycardia, nodal bradyarrhythmia, atrial premature beats(APB),atrial fibrillation(AF)and ventricular premature beat(VPB),respiratory rate and abnormal alarm were collected and compared by applying bedside ECG monitoring and non-inductive health monitoring system based on FMCW radar in each patient. Results There was no significant difference in HR monitoring between the two monitoring systems(P>0.05).The concordance rate of the two monitoring systems was 88.9%for APB and 84.2%for VPB,and were 100%for nodal tachycardia, nodal bradyarrhythmia,AF and normal HR.There were no significant differences in monitoring of different types of arrhythmia, respiratory rate and abnormal alarm between the two monitoring systems(P>0.05).Conclusion The non-inductive health monitoring system based on FMCW radar has a higher accuracy in the monitoring of HR,different types of arrhythmia, respiratory rate and abnormal alarm with a very good application prospect.
