Abstract:Objective To observe the expressions of serum connective tissue growth factor(CTGF)and silent information regulator 1(SIRT1),and analyze the correlation among the expressions and myocardial remodeling in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods CHF patients(n=120)were chosen into observation group from Qingdao Municipal Hospital from Jan.2022 to May 2023.According to NYHA classification of heart function, the patients in observation group were divided into grade Ⅱ subgroup(n=38),grade Ⅲ subgroup(n=57)and grade Ⅳsubgroup(n=25).At the same time, healthy volunteers(n=100)were chosen into control group. The expressions of serum CTGF and SIRT1,and indexes of myocardial remodeling[left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left atrial diameter(LAD),left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT),left ventricular mass index(LVMI)and left ventricular remodeling index(LVRI)]were compared between observation and control group, and among all subgroups. The correlation among CTGF,SIRT1 and myocardial remodeling index were analyzed. Results Compared with control group,CTGF,LVEDD,LAD,LVPWD,LVMI and LVRI were higher, and SIRT1 was lower in observation group(P<0.05).With the increase of heart function grade,CTGF,LVEDD,LAD,LVPWD,LVMI and LVRI increased, and SIRT1 decreased(P<0.05).The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that CTGF and SIRT1 were correlated to indexes of myocardial remodeling(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of CTGF increases and SIRT1 expression decreased, and are closely correlated to myocardial remodeling in CHF patients.
