Abstract:Objective To investigate and analyze the current situation of pediatric guidelines published in Chinese journals from 2018 to 2022.Methods The databases of WanFang Data,CNKI,CBM and VIP Database were retrieved from Jan.1,2018 to Dec.31,2022.After screened literature and extracted data, the information of pediatric guideline authors was extracted and organized by using BICOMB software to product author co-occurrence matrixes.A visual graph of authors'social network relationship was plotted by using Ucinet 6.661 software. Results There were totally 108 pediatric guidelines included, including 66 evidence-based guidelines and 42 non-evidence-based guidelines.Among them there were 91(84.3%)guidelines of Western medicine and 17(15.7%)guidelines of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).The main types of the guidelines were diagnosis and treatment guidelines(39.8%,43/108),followed by technical guidelines(14.8%,16/108)and therapeutical guidelines(13.0%,14/108).Most of the guidelines(25.9,28/108)were developed by societies, followed by professional committees(20.4%,22/108).Academy groups and professional associations were also involved in the formulation of the guidelines, accounting for 14.8%(16/108)and 13.9%(15/108),respectively.The authors'social network relationship graph showed that there were 8 major research groups involved in the development of pediatric guidelines. Conclusion The number of pediatric guidelines published in recent 5 years is stable, but the number of TCM guidelines is less. The annual number of evidence-based guidelines published has increased significantly. There is lack of collaborations between different research groups, and the participation of evidence-based experts is not widespread. In the future, more evidence-based experts should be involved in the formulation of guidelines to further improve the quality of guidelines.
