Abstract:Objective To discuss the influence of Gualou Xiebai Banxia Tang on levels of myocardial injury biomarkers in patients with coronary heart disease-angina pectoris(CHD-AP)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods CHD-AP patients(n=98)undergone PCI were chosen from Department of Cardiology in the First Central Hospital of Baoding City from Jan.2022 to Feb.2023,and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group(each n=49).After PCI,control group was given routine Western drugs and observation group was additionally given Gualou Xiebai Banxia Tang. The clinical efficacy, integrals of TCM syndrome, myocardial injury biomarkers[creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme(CK-MB),cardiac troponin T(cTnT),myoglobin(MB)],quality of life[QOL assessed by using Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)]and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between 2 groups. Results After treatment for 4 weeks, clinical efficacy was higher in observation group than that in control group(P>0.05).The integrals of TCM syndrome were lower in 2 groups than before treatment(P<0.05),and was lower in observation group than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment for 4 weeks, the levels of CK-MB,cTnT and MB were lower in 2 groups than before treatment(P<0.05),and were lower in observation group than those in control group(P<0.05).The scores of SAQ were higher in 2 groups than before treatment(P<0.05),and were higher in observation group than those in control group(P<0.05).The comparison in incidence of adverse reactions had no statistical differences between 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Gualou Xiebai Banxia Tang can relieve clinical symptoms with effects of ameliorating myocardial injury and protecting myocardium in CHD-AP patients after PCI.
