Abstract:Objective To discuss the efficacy and safety of iodixanol administrated during emergency percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Methods STEMI patients(n=80)undergone emergency PCI were chosen from People's Hospital of Hebei Province from Jan.2020 to Dec.2020,and divided, according to contrast agent types, into test group(given iodixanol)and control group(given ioversol, each n=40).The baseline materials were collected from the patients, the quality of vascular imaging and adverse reactions were observed, and serum creatinine(SCr)and estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)from 48 h to 72 h after the operation were recorded in 2 group. The patients were followed up 30 d after the operation, and incidence of targe lesion events were recorded including revascularization,stroke,in-stent thrombosis, cardiac death and myocardial infarction(MI).Results The clinical baseline materials had no significant difference between 2 groups(P>0.05),and results of vascular imaging were clear in 2 groups. The incidence rates of perioperative adverse reactions and levels of SCr and eGFR had no significant differences between 2 groups(P>0.05),but postoperative SCr increased[(91.52±33.83)μmol/L vs.(76.89±16.89)μmol/L,P<0.05]in control group, and had no significant changes in test group. Conclusion Iodixanol has less effect on kidney function and is safer in STEMI patients during emergency PCI.
