Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between autonomic nervous function, serum chemokine ligand 12(CXCL12)level,and recurrence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after catheter ablation. Methods 95 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation admitted to the Department of Cardiology of the Third Hospital of Xingtai City from January to December 2021 were selected. All patients were treated with catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation. The follow-up ECG results divided them into a recurrent group(n=33)and a recurrent group(n=62).The autonomic nervous function, including heart rate deceleration force(DC),heart rate acceleration force(AC),and serum CXCL12 level, was measured before and after surgery in the two groups;the Pearson method was used to analyze the correlation between DC AC,CXCL12 levels and recurrence of atrial fibrillation. Results There were no significant differences in preoperative DC values[(7.38±0.61)ms vs.(7.53±0.73)ms],AC absolute values[(7.58±2.13)ms vs.(7.85±1.27)ms],and CXCL12 levels[(1038.18±91.26)pg/ml vs.(1043.41±92.35)pg/ml]between the two groups(P>0.05).Postoperative DC values were higher in the recurrence group than in the non-recurrence group[(7.12±0.58)ms vs.(4.53±0.67)ms,P<0.05],AC absolute values were higher in the recurrence group than in the non-recurrence group[(5.86±1.72)ms vs.(4.11±1.08)ms,P<0.05],and serum CXCL12 levels were also higher in the recurrence group than in the non-recurrence group[(867.55±58.07)pg/ml vs.(706.45±48.01)pg/ml,P<0.05].The Pearson correlation analysis showed that DC,AC absolute values, and serum CXCL12 levels positively correlated with postoperative AF recurrence(P<0.05).Conclusion Autonomic dysfunction and serum CXCL12 level after catheter ablation are closely related to the recurrence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.Autonomic function and serum CXCL12 level can be measured clinically to assess the risk of recurrence.
