Abstract：Population aging is one of the signs of success of human society,while global healthcare delivery systems are facing huge impact and challenges brought by aging.The SHARE database is a basic research database for studying the impact of health,social,economic and environmental factors on ageing over the life course of European citizens.It is also the largest European Social Science Panel study,providing internationally comparable longitudinal microdata to enable an understanding of the public health and socio-economic living conditions of individuals in Europe.This paper will introduce the SHARE database architecture and guide users on how to download and extract data from the official website,aiming to provide a high-quality medical public data resource platform for medical researchers.
