Influence of nicorandil on curative effect and hemorheology and oxidative stress indexes in patients with unstable angina pectoris complicated by hypertension

Abstract：Objective To discuss the influence of nicorandil on curative effect and indexes of hemorheology and oxidative stress in patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP)complicated by hypertension.Methods The patients with UAP complicated by hypertension(n=88)were chosen from Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in Central Hospital of Shangqiu City from Jan.2019 to Aug.2020,and divided randomly into control group and observation group(each n=44).The control group was given routine therapy and observation group was additionally given nicorandil for 3 months.The curative effect was compared between 2 groups.The indexes of hemorheology[whole blood viscosity(WBV),plasma viscosity,hematocrit value(HCT),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)],and indexes of oxidative stress[malondialdehyde(MDA),glutathione(GSH),superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidease(GSH-Px)]were detected,and adverse reactions were recorded in 2 groups.Results After treatment,the indexes of WBV,plasma viscosity,HCT,ESR and MDA decreased,and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C),GSH,SOD and GSH-Px increased in 2 groups(P<0.05).The indexes of WBV,plasma viscosity and MDA were lower,and GSH,SOD and GSH-Px were higher in observation group than those in control group(P<0.05).The totally effective rate was 88.6%in observation group and 70.5%in control group(P<0.05).The incidence rates of adverse reactions were similar in 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Nicorandil is safe and effective,and can improve hemorheology and oxidative stress in patients with UAP complicated by hypertension.
