Abstract:Objective To investigate the influencing factors of salt sensitivity and heart rate variability in hypertensive patients and the influence of salt sensitivity on heart rate variability in hypertensive patients. Methods To investigate the influencing factors of salt sensitivity and heart rate variability in hypertensive patients and the influence of salt sensitivity on heart rate variability in hypertensive patients. Results The proportion of males and smokers in the high-sensitivity group was higher than that in the low-sensitivity and medium-sensitivity groups, and the age was lower than that in the low-sensitivity and medium-sensitivity groups(P<0.05).BMI and CRP levels in the high sensitivity group were higher than those in the medium sensitivity group(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that age was a protective factor of salt sensitivity while smoking and CRP were risk factors(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that diabetes mellitus,CRP,and salt sensitivity negatively affected SDNN(P<0.05).BNP positively affected PNN50,while diabetes and salt sensitivity negatively affected PNN50(P<0.05).Conclusion Male, smoking, younger age, higher BMI,and CRP levels may result in higher salt sensitivity.High salt sensitivity and diabetes may reduce heart rate variability in hypertensive patients.
