Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between multidimensional sleep health and the severity of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Methods From 2022-08 to 2022-10,656 patients diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome for the first time were included in the study.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Epworth Sleepiness Scale were used to collect information on sleep duration, timing, satisfaction, efficiency and daytime sleepiness.A composite sleep health score ranging from 0 to 5 was established and divided into high, medium and low sleep health groups according to the scores.Gensini scoring system was used to evaluate the severity of coronary artery lesions. Results After adjusting for multiple covariates, moderate and low sleep health groups were significantly associated with higher Gensini scores compared with high sleep health groups(OR=3.225,95%CI:2.126~4.893;OR=6.180,95%CI:3.607~10.590),the sleep health group with the lower score also had worse cardiovascular metabolism, which was manifested by higher values of BMI,HbA1c,LDL,UA and lower HDL values(P<0.05).Conclusion Poor multidimensional sleep health is significantly associated with more severe coronary atherosclerosis, and multiple metabolic factors may play an important role.
