Abstract:Midlife in the United States(MIDUS)is a longitudinal study of health and well-being in the U.S.The overall goal of the MIDUS study is to explore behavioral and psychosocial factors that influence age-related health and illness in a representative sample of Americans.The MIDUS series covers a range of general characteristics,biomarkers,and neurology.It is divided into four sections,MIDUS1,MIDUS2,MIDUS3 and MIDUS Refresher,based on when the data were collected.This database is available for users to download and use for free.This article describes how users can download data on the MIDUS platform and related matters,aiming to promote academic exchange and communication and introduce higher quality sources of scientific data for researchers.
