Abstract:compare the safety and efficacy between zero-ray radiofrequency ablation (RFA) guided by Carto3 total three-dimensional mapping system and routine X-ray RFA in treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT). Methods The patients planed to undergo RFA (n=102) were chosen from Department of Cardiology in the Second Affiliate Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University from Jan. 2017 to June 2018, and divided randomly into Carto3-RFA group (n=52) and X-ray RFA group (n=50). The differences were compared in RFA time, target mapping time, ablation discharge times, X-ray exposure volume, immediate success rate of RFA and incidence of complications between 2 groups. Results The immediate success rate of RFA and incidence of complications had no statistical difference between 2 groups (all P>0.05). The RFA time, target mapping time, ablation discharge time and X-ray exposure volume were all significantly lower in Carto3-RFA group than those in X-ray RFA group (all P<0.05). Conclusion The safety and efficacy of zero-ray RFA guided by Carto3 total three-dimensional mapping system are higher in treatment of PSVT, which has great clinical value.
