Abstract:study the clinical efficacy of Nuoxintuo (sacubitril/valsartan) in administrated patients with heart failure (HF). Methods The patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF, n=43) were chosen continuously from Beijing Anzhen Hospital of Capital University of Medical Sciences for Oct. 2017 to Apr. 2018. The patients were randomly divided into Nuoxintuo group (n=17) and enalapril group (n=26). The observation indexes were major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) including cardiac death and rehospitalization due to HF recurrence, indexes of echocardiogram including left ventricular end-diastolic inner diameter (LVEDd), increased value of LVEDd (△-LVEDd), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and increased value of LVEF (△-LVEF), and level of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and increased value of NT-proBNP (△-NT proBNP). Results The rate of cardiac death was 5.9% in Nuoxintuo group and 7.7% in enalapril group without statistical difference. The rate of rehospitalization due to HF recurrence was 11.7% in Nuoxintuo group and 23.1% in enalapril group and the difference had statistical significance. The levels of LVEDd (a) and NT-proBNP (a) were lower in Nuoxintuo group than those in enalapril group and the difference had statistical significance. The levels of LVEF (a), △-LVEDd, △-LVEF and △-NT-proBNP were higher in Nuoxintuo group than those in enalapril group and the difference had statistical significance. Conclusion Nuoxintuo can be administrated safely and effectively in patients with HFrEF.
