Abstract:discuss the influence of tele-monitoring exercise training on health literacy and left ventricular systolic function in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Methods CHF patients (n=133) were randomly divided into control group (n=66) and observation group (n=67). The control group was given routine medicine therapy, and observation group was additionally given tele-monitoring exercise training after discharged from hospital, and the intervention duration was for 6 months. The scores of Heart Failure Specific Health Literacy Scale (HF-SHLS) and Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire (MLHFQ), heart rate (HR), echocardiogram and 6-minute walk distance (6MWD) were compared between 2 groups before and after the intervention, and re-hospitalization rate was counted. Results After the intervention for 6 months, MLHFQ scores were significantly lower, and HF-SHLS scores and 6MWD were significantly higher in observation group than those in control group (P<0.05). The levels of HR, left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD), left ventricular end-diastolic inner diameter (LVEDD) and ventricular systolic synchrony (ΔTs) were significantly lower, and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and stroke volume (SV) were significantly higher in observation group than those in control group (P<0.05). The re-hospitalization rate was 17.91% in observation group and 33.33% in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The tele-monitoring exercise training is conducive for promoting health literacy and left ventricular systolic function, improving exercise endurance and quality of life and reducing the risk of re-hospitalization in CHF patients.
