Abstract:Objective To study the changes of serum complement C1q level in patients with acute coronary syndrome and analyze its clinical significance. Methods 92 patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease admitted to department of emergency and critical care medicine of the third people's hospital of Henan from January 2017 to January 2018 were enrolled and divided into acute coronary syndrome group (43 cases) and stable angina group (49 cases) according to the clinical types of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. In addition, 50 cases of normal persons who underwent physical examination in our hospital at the same time were selected as the control group. Triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and creatinine levels were measured using automated biochemical analyzer. Serum complement C1q levels were measured using immunoturbidimetric assay kit. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the diagnostic energy efficiency of serum complement C1q levels in acute coronary syndromes. Results The TG, TC and ldl-c levels of patients in the acute coronary syndrome group were (2.11±1.18) mmol/L, (4.49±1.01) mmol/L and (2.56±0.62) mmol/L, HDL-C level was (1.05±0.23) mmol/L, which was lower than the stable angina group and the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (all P<0.05). Serum complement C1q level in patients with acute coronary syndromes was (306.27±93.11) mg/L, which was higher than the stable angina group and control group (203.10±24.58) mg/L and (199.11±20.37) mg/L, with statistically significant differences (all P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve, sensitivity and specificity of serum complement C1q level in the diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome were all above 0.8. Conclusion The level of serum complement C1q is abnormally elevated in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Early diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome can be made by detecting the level of serum complement C1q in clinical work.
