Abstract:Objective To explore the influencing factors of cardiac rehabilitation in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods A retrospective analysis of 483 patients with acute coronary syndrome who underwent acute cardiac rehabilitation in the Cardiovascular Center of Beijing Friendship Hospital from May 2017 to December 2018 was divided into acute phase group according to whether they participated in the outpatient recovery period cardiac rehabilitation intervention. (n=420) and recovery period group (n=63). Logistic regression model was used to analyze the factors affecting patients' cardiac rehabilitation. Results The participation rate of cardiac rehabilitation in the recovery period was 13.04% (63/483). Patients who continued to participate in convalescent cardiac rehabilitation were younger (P=0.001) and had a higher proportion of people with low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (P=0.017), compared with those who only participated in acute cardiac rehabilitation. There were fewer people with a history of chronic kidney disease and a history of osteoarthrosis (P=0.049, 0.037). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age (OR=0.962, 95%CI: 0.938-0.988, P=0.004) was the main influencing factor for ACS patients who participated in the recovery of cardiac rehabilitation after PCI. Conclusion The participation rate of cardiac rehabilitation in patients with acute coronary syndrome after PCI is low. The age is an independent factor in the recovery of cardiac rehabilitation after PCI in ACS patients.
