Abstract:Objective Simple, rapid, non-invasive early examination of coronary heart disease is necessary. The magnetocardiography (MCG) is a non-invasive and effective method of examining myocardial ischemia. In this study, the value of early diagnosis of coronary heart disease (CHD) by low temperature superconducting MCG was discussed by comparing and analyzing 10 MCG parameters. Methods 213 patients with Chest pain and suspected CHD who were determined to run coronary artery angiography were recruited. 10 MCG parameters (T_FMA, TT_FMA_max, TT_FMA_min, TT_FMAD, TT_PDD, T_MMR, T_CA, TT_CA_max, TT_CA_min and TT_CAD) were extracted from all subjects in the analysis to test the diagnostic value. Results Compared to control group, T_FMA, TT_FMAD, TT_PDD, T_MMR, and TT_CAD were significantly higher in CHD group (all P<0.05). And TT_CA_min was significantly lower in CHD group (P<0.01). However, only 4 parameters of T_FMA, TT_CAD, TT_FMAD, and TT_CA_min showed statistically significant AUC, with sensitivities of 66.7%, 61.4%, 55.3%, 64.4% and specificities of 75.3%, 65.4%, 59.3% and 61.7%. when criterion value of CHD group was defined that any of the 4 parameters was abnormal, the sensitivities were 97.7%, specificity 46.9%, PPV was 75.0% and NPV was 92.7%. Conclusion There’s a high diagnostic value of MCG to detect CHD.
