Abstract:Objective To discuss the method and efficacy of team nursing mode in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) complicated by cardiogenic shock (CGS) treated with intraaortic balloon pumping (IABP). Methods The patients undergone IABP (n=50) were chosen from Department of Endocrinology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College from Jan. 2017 to Jan. 2018. All patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group (each n=25). The control group was cared with routine nursing mode of cardiology, and observation group was cared with team nursing mode. The nursing efficacy was compared and analyzed in 2 groups. Results The degree of satisfaction to nursing service was significantly higher in observation group than that in control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications was significantly lower in observation group than that in control group (P<0.05). The scores of nursing quality and levels of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were significantly superior in observation group to those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Team nursing mode applied for patients with AMI complicated by CGS undergone IABP can effectively relieve symptoms, improve prognosis, and promote degree of satisfaction to nursing service of patients and their families. It is worth to be popularized and applied in clinical practice.
