Abstract:Objective To discuss the influence of psycho-cardiology nursing intervention on psychologic situation and quality of life (QOL) of patients. Methods The patients undergone intracoronary stent implantation (n=400) were chosen from Cardiovascular Center in Hospital of Chinese PLA 82 Group Army from Jan. 2016 to Dec. 2018, and divided, according to admission time, into intervention group and control group (each n=200). The control group was given general nursing and intervention group was given psycho-cardiology nursing. The scores of negative mentality (anxiety and depression) and QOL scores were compared in 2 groups before and after the intervention. Results The difference in scores of negative mentality had no statistical significance between 2 groups before the intervention. The difference in scores of negative mentality had statistical significance between 2 groups after the intervention (P<0.05), and the scores were significantly lower in intervention group than those in control group after the intervention. The QOL scores were higher in intervention group than those in control group after the intervention (P<0.05). Conclusion Psycho-cardiology nursing can relieve negative mentality, promote QOL and improve prognosis in patients undergone intracoronary stent implantation.
