Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression and significance of serum fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF-23), cardiac myosin binding protein C (cMyBP-C) and soluble growth-stimulated expression gene 2 (sST2) in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods Eighty patients with acute myocardial infarction who were admitted to the Department of Cardiology of Shahe People's Hospital from September 2016 to September 2017 were selected as subjects (observation group), and 70 healthy subjects in our hospital were selected as the control group. Changes in FGF-23, cMyBP-C, and sST2 in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Results The levels of serum FGF-23, cMyBP-C and sST2 in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of serum FGF-23, cMyBP-C and sST2 in patients with Killip Ⅲ were significantly higher than those in grade Ⅰ and Ⅱ. Patients with grade Ⅱ (P<0.05); serum levels of FGF-23, cMyBP-C, and sST2 were significantly higher in grade Ⅱ patients than in grade I patients (P<0.05); serum from grade I, grade Ⅱ, and grade Ⅲ patients as dependent variables FGF-23, cMyBP-C, and sST2 were used as independent variables, and the results of correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between FGF-23, cMyBP-C, sST2 and grade Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and III patients (P<0.05). Conclusion There is a close relationship between the expression of FGF-23, cMyBP-C and sST2 and the severity of the disease in patients with acute myocardial infarction, which promotes the development of the disease. This study provides a new idea for targeted drugs for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction.
