Abstract:Objective To study the risk factors of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). Methods The patients (n=117), undergone MRI and diagnosed as CSVD, were chosen into CSVD group from Datong Coal Mine General Hospital from Mar. 2016 to Dec. 2017. At the same time the patients (n=159) with non-cerebrovascular disease were chosen into control group from the same hospital. The general clinical therapies and biochemical indexes were compared between 2 groups. Results The age and proportions of male, smoking, drinking, diabetic and hypertensive patients were all significantly higher in CSVD group than those in control group (all P<0.05). The levels of TG, TC, LDL-C, Hcy, hs-CRP and D-dimer were significantly higher, and level of HDL-C was significantly lower in CSVD group than those in control group (all P<0.05). The results of multi-factor Logistic regression analysis showed that age (OR=1.54, 95%CI: 1.42~21.75), hypertension (OR=2.51, 95%CI: 3.53~15.23), TG (OR=2.54, 95%CI: 2.15~7.93), Hcy (OR=1.36, 95%CI: 1.37~13.52), hs-CRP (OR=2.71, 95%CI: 1.24~10.59) and D-dimer (OR=3.33, 95%CI: 2.57~8.34) were all independent risk factors of CSVD. Conclusion The independent risk factors of CSVD include age, hypertension, TG, Hcy, hs-CRP and D-dimer. The prevention and controlling on these risk factors can efficiently reduce CSVD occurrence risk.
