Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of rosuvastatin on the expression of serum microRNA155 (miR155), cystatin C (Cystain C) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods 86 patients with coronary heart disease admitted to the hospital from February 2016 to February 2018 were enrolled in the study. They were divided into study group and control group according to the random number table method. Both groups were treated routinely after admission. On this basis, the study group was treated with rosuvastatin at a dose of 20 mg/d, and the control group was treated with rosuvastatin at a dose of 10 mg/d on a routine basis. The blood lipid related indexes, serum miR155, Cystain C, MMP-9 expression and changes of echocardiographic indexes were compared before and after treatment. Results The levels of total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in the study group and the control group were lower than those before treatment; and the TC and LDL-C levels in the study group were lower after treatment than in the control group. (P<0.05). The levels of serum miR155, Cystain C, and MMP-9 in the study group and the control group were lower than those before treatment. Serum levels of miR155, Cystain C, and MMP-9 were lower in the study group than in the control group (P<0.05). The SV level of the study group and the control group was higher than that before treatment. The left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) level of the study group was higher than that before treatment, and the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVDd) level was compared with that before treatment. The LVEF and left ventricular stroke volume (SV) levels were higher after treatment in the study group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Risuvastatin can effectively improve the lipid metabolism of patients with coronary heart disease, and the expression levels of serum miR155, Cystain C and MMP-9 can also promote the recovery of cardiac function. With the increase of risuvastatin dose, the improvement degree of the above related indicators is more obvious, and there is a significant quantitative effect relationship.
