Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of nicorand combined with Shenqi Capsule in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris (UAP), and to explore its related mechanisms. Methods A total of 118 UAP patients admitted to the Department of Cardiology, Tieling City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2015 to August 2017 were enrolled in the study. They were randomly divided into control group (n=59) and observation group (n=59). The control group received conventional treatment + nicorandil tablets (5 mg / time, 3/d), and the observation group was added Shenshen Capsule (1.0 g/time, 3/d) on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 14 days. The clinical efficacy, 24 h myocardial ischemia, duration of 24 h ischemia, and hemorheological parameters (high blood viscosity, whole blood low cut viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit, fibrinogen), vascular endothelial function indicators [nitrogen monoxide (NO), nitric oxide synthase (NOS), 6-ketoprostF1a (6-keto-PGF1a), thromboxane B2 (TXB2), endothelin-1 (ET-1)], body's oxidative stress index [serum superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH), myeloperoxidase (MPO), malondialdehyde (MDA)] and record adverse reactions were recorded. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.53%, which was higher than that of the control group (72.88%). The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the number of myocardial ischemic attacks, duration and total ischemic load were lower in the two groups (P<0.05). Plasma viscosity, whole blood high cut and low cut viscosity, hematocrit and fibrinogen levels were also lower than before treatment (P<0.05). The levels of NO, NOS, 6-keto-PGF1a, SOD and GSH were higher than those before treatment. The levels of TXB2, ET-1, MPO and MDA were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). The changes in the above indicators in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups. Conclusions Nicorandil combined with Shenshao Capsules is effective and safe for patients with UAP.
