Abstract:To study the relationship between serum levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods Eighty patients with coronary heart disease admitted to the Department of Cardiology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from September 2017 to November 2017, and 80 healthy physical examination subjects were selected as study subjects. They were divided into study group and control group. VEGF levels and Hp infection were compared between the two groups. Results The positive rate of Hp-IgG in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the negative rate was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). And the level of VEGF positive serum and the negative serum VEGF level of Hp-IgG detected in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The serum VEGF level of patients with coronary heart disease is closely related to the Hp infection. The serum VEGF level and the Hp infection rate of the patients with coronary heart disease are higher than those of the normal population. The detection of the VEGF level and the Hp-IgG can provide the related detection indexes for the diagnosis and development of the coronary heart disease, and it is positive for the treatment of coronary heart disease.
