Abstract:Evidence-based medicine research in critical medicine must be based on a large number of clinical diagnosis and treatment data. Under the multiple effects of the complex and variable conditions of critically ill patients and the intense work of ICU, there is a certain difficulty for medical workers to collect large amounts of data for clinical research. The eICU Collaborative Research Database (eICU-CRD) is a large public database created by the Philips Group in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Laboratory for Computational Physiology (LCP). A large amount of high-quality clinical information has been collected, which has solved the current situation of lack of big data for clinical research by medical workers. This paper introduces the application and data extraction process of the eICU Collaborative Research Database to help medical workers obtain the required data more conveniently and quickly.
