Abstract:Objective To analyze the relationship among serum low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), Annexin A1 and severity of coronary artery stenosis in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods CHD patients (n=150) were divided, according to types, vessels of coronary artery lesions and Gensini scores, into different groups[acute myocardial infarction group (AMI group), unstable angina pectoris group (UAP group), stable angina pectoris group (SAP group), multi-vessel lesion group, 2-vessel lesion group and 1-vessel lesion group], and health controls (n=23) were chosen into control group. The levels of LDL-C and Annexin A1 were compared among all groups, and correlation among them and severity of coronary artery stenosis was analyzed. Results The levels of LDL-C and Annexin A1 were higher in AMI group than those in UAP group, and were higher in UAP group than those in SAP group. The levels of LDL-C and Annexin A1 were higher in SAP group than those in control group (P<0.05).The levels of LDL-C and Annexin A1 were higher in multi-vessel lesion group than those in 2-vessel lesion group, and were higher in 2-vessel lesion group than those in 1-vessel lesion group (P<0.05).The levels of LDL-C and Annexin A1 were higher in Gensini scores>60 group than those in Gensini scores=30-60group, and were higher in Gensini scores=30-60 group than those in Gensini scores<30 group (P<0.05).Gensini scores were positively correlated to levels of LDL-C and Annexin A1(r=0.431, r=0.489, all P<0.05).Conclusion The increases of LDL-C and Annexin A1 may be correlated to severity of coronary artery stenosis, which helps to disease condition reviewing and treatment.
