Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship between the formation of collateral circulation and the polymorphism of VEGF-A gene in coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CAD). Methods 200 patients with coronary heart disease who were admitted to the Department of Cardiology, the First Hospital of Changsha from October 2015 to August 2017 were selected as subjects. The rentrop grading method was used to evaluate the collateral circulation of the patients, including grade 0, grade 1, grade 2 and grade 3, of which grade 0 was used as the collateral circulation group and grade 1 to 3 was the collateral circulation group. The clinical data, blood glucose and blood lipid levels of all patients were counted and compared. Four ml of peripheral venous blood was taken, peripheral blood DNA was extracted, and PCR was performed on the three polypeptide sites of vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A) gene. The Correlation between VEGF-A gene polymorphism and the collateral circulation forming of CAD patients was analyzed. Results The proportion of GG genotype and G gene in rs2010963 locus of VEGF-A gene in collateral circulation group were significantly higher than those in non-collateral circulation group(P<0.05). The GG genotype and G gene frequency in rs1570360 were significantly higher than non-collateral circulation group(P<0.05). The frequencies of CC genotypes and C gene in rs699947 locus were significantly higher than non-collateral circulation group(P<0.05). The frequencies of TT genotypes and T gene frequency at rs3025039 and rs833061 were significantly higher than non-collateral circulation group(P<0.05). Conclusion The polymorphisms of VEGF-A gene in CAD patients are related to the formation of collateral circulation. The G allele of rs2010963 and rs1570360 of the VEGF-A gene, the C allele of rs699947, the T of rs3025039 and rs833061 B gene may be a contributing factor in the formation of collateral circulation in CAD patients.
