Abstract:Objective To investigate the application value of IABP in percutaneous coronary intervention of patients with severe acute myocardial infarction. Methods 72 patients with severe acute myocardial infarction from May 2015 to May 2017 were randomly selected, these patients were divided into application group (n=36) and non application group (n=36) according to the application of IABP. The hemodynamic changes before and after treatment and postoperative complications of two groups were analyzed statistically. Results The heart rate of the application group was significantly lower than that of the non application group (P<0.05). The systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and mean arterial pressure of the application group were significantly higher than those of the non application group (P<0.05). The intraoperative and postoperative complication rate [5.6% (2/36), 2.8% (1/36)] of the application group were significantly lower than those of the non application group [44.4% (16/36), 27.8% (10/36), (P<0.05)]. Conclusion IABP has high value in the treatment of patients with severe acute myocardial infarction undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention.
